2BRIIDGES FC was Inspired by the Two Bridges neighborhood of Manhattan, right next to where I lived in the Lower East Side. During my time there, I came to love the locally owned shops and restaurants that somehow seemed to duck the invasion of Chipotle and Starbucks, at lest at that time. In a post-COVID NYC, it served as a small reminder of a New York that had largely disappeared, and was a small oasis within a city still reeling from the combined effects of global panic and social isolation.
